The Skyline Village Inn is a unique combination of the past and present. Located at milepost 331 on the Blue Ridge Parkway, near Spruce Pine and Little Switzerland, Inn was built in 1942 by John M Greer in the side of the mountain at the entrance to a cavern, where a moonshine still was located.. In 2004 Mike & Lynn Thrift bought the Skyline and renovated to its present 12,000+ sq.ft,, 16-room inn. which is becoming one of the must stops on the Blue Ridge Parkway for travelers, especially for motorcyclists. The reason is the one stop shop for lodging, meals and now for Motorcycle support and contingency planning for individuals and groups. We are pet friendly and offer covered motorcycle parking, wi-fi and cable TV. Breakfast and lunch are served in our dining room to guests, only.

Also at this location, you will find Dual Sport Motorcycle Rentals! We now have a BMW 650 GS, a Yamaha TW200 and a Yamaha XT250 in our garage and ready to take you off pavement in the Blue Ridge mountains for a great motorcycling adventure. If someone in your group of riders has a mechanical problem they have options: They can use our facilities to repair the bike if it is a minor problem. If the problem requires a shop and mechanic we can help you transport the bike with our bike trailer.
